Written By Kelvin Rush

When you feel like the whole world’s against you
When your best friend has taken your wife
When blue skies are no longer with you
And you’re ready to end your life

When you reach out but no one is waiting
When you constantly hide in your room
When you open your eyes in the morning to find
Only the prospect of gloom

You must always take care of your feelings
You must somehow rekindle your birth
You’re as good as the ones who you’re fighting against
They are no more than scum’s of the earth

And nothing ever happens in the end

In your heart there is no more forgiving
You have suffered so much in your life
You argue that no one is listening to you
When you talk of your troubles and strife

You calmly explain how you’re feeling

Oh I know you’ll be true to your word
It’s just that you call me so late in the night
It’s beginning to get so absurd

I was hoping your faith would stay with you
Though it seems you no longer believe
You can open your heart to whoever you like
But don’t you come running back to me

Cos nothing ever happens in the end

Come with me let your spirit run free
Leave your troubles behind let your mind unwind

I can no longer dream without screaming
I can barely remember my name
My nightmares are so real It’s frightening they won’t heal
How can I keep myself sane

When nothing ever happens in the end
